GUITAR LEGENDS JOE SATRIANI AND STEVE VAI FORMED "SATCHVAI BAND" CONCERT ON JULY 30 AT THE OPEN SPACE OF THE PORT OF BELGRADE

Five decades of musical friendship, guitar legends Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, crowned with the formation of a new group "SatchVai Band", and in June they start their first European tour "Surfing with the Hydra Tour", during which they will hold a concert in the Serbian capital 30. The monumental musical journey through Europe "SatchVai Band" will start on June 13 and will last only a month and a half, so the European capitals where they will perform have been carefully selected. The exciting European tour, apart from solo concerts in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London, Belgrade and other cities, also includes performances at the big European summer festivals Hellfest, Umria Jazz Festival and Guitares en Scene Fest.

“The SatchVai Band Tour is happening! I'm so looking forward to sharing the stage with Steve again," Satriani said. "Every time we play together, I go back to when we were teenagers, eating and breathing music every second of the day, pushing, challenging and helping each other to be the best we can be." Vai pointed out that touring with Satrian is always a pleasure and an honor. “He's my favorite jamming guitarist, and now we have another chance to bring that to the stage. Joe Satriani and Steve Vai collaborated in March 2024 on the project "The Sea of ​​Emotion, Pt. 1”, when they displayed a unique synergy of guitar virtuosity while flawlessly changing solo parts during the six-minute opus. Their second collaboration will be released just before their European tour, fueling the audience's anticipation to hear them live. Incidentally, their musical careers have been intertwined since their early days. Satriani was Vaye's guitar teacher during his teenage years. Their relationship continued to develop throughout years, and they often teamed up with a third guitarist, participating in the semi-annual "G3" tours, both in America and abroad.
