40 years of the Art Rock project - Heroes
Heroes was created in 1984 as a theater art project by Vladimir Đurić - Đura.
The members of the first lineup of "Heroja" were Nebojša Popović (violin and clarinet), Bora Miličić (percussion), Nebojša Golubović (bass), Nikola Diklić (guitar), Nebojša Diklić (drums), Selena Stanković (keyboards) and Lenka Udovički (dance). They performed for the first time at an independent exhibition of photographs by Miladin Jeličić - Jela in Manak's house in 1985. The first official singles were recorded in this line-up: "Noću haramo" and "Captain's daughter".
In 1986, guitarist Nikola Diklić left the band, Aleksandar Marić - Šule took his place, and Ivan Minović joined the group on keyboards. The first single in the new line-up was released as a video for the song "Macho Tip".
The line-up soon completely changes and new members join the band: Milutin Petrović (vocals), Vladan Aćimović Aćim (guitar), Miša Savić - Mipi (keyboards), Rade Bulatović - Čeja (bass) and Ivica Vdović - Vd (drums). In this line-up, in 1987, Heroes recorded the singles "Bilder" and "Skiing Instructor".
In 1988, Heroes recorded the singles "Kiza rok" and "E = mc²", and soon their first album "1988".
In December 2024, comeback album "Super" was released as a joint release by PGP RTS and Multimedia Music. The album contains all the greatest hits of Hero: Kiza rock, I'll crush you, but so far unreleased tracks: Ti Rex Fan and Vincaca. The concert promotion of the album will be held on May 23, 2025 in the American Hall in the Youth Center of Belgrade. At the performance, unreleased songs by Hero will be performed, with the support and help of special guests and friends.
The concert starts at 9 p.m., and tickets can be purchased at all points of sale and online at Efinity.rs.
