After the great success of our previous play "Cinderella", which won the hearts of audiences across the country, we decided to venture into the world of fairy tales again – this time through the story of Ivica and Marica.

This play is more than just another classic fairy tale on stage, it is an attempt to tell through dance, music and contemporary expression the story of courage, resourcefulness and love between a brother and sister, who together find their way through the dark forest of fear, temptation and uncertainty.

Our Ivica and Marica is set in a colorful, funny and sometimes ironic world, but essentially deals with serious topics: abandonment, greed, loneliness, obsession with money, the harmful effects of drugs as well as faith in good. Through unusual characters - lovable animals, a not-so-typical witch and parents struggling with their own weaknesses - we wanted to remind children and adults how important support, trust and the warmth of a home are. The performance is designed so that the audience constantly moves between laughter and thinking, between play and message.

I am grateful to the entire author team, actors and collaborators who created this world with a lot of passion, energy and love. I hope that our Ivica and Marica will bring to the audience what the theater does best - moments of pure joy, excitement and that precious feeling that everything is possible, as long as we believe.
