Dive into the World of Coral Reefs
June 2025
In this workshop, we’ll dive into the fascinating world of coral reefs! In a fun and creative way, children will explore the incredible biodiversity of coral reefs through interactive games, posters, photos, and films — and discover why these underwater ecosystems are vital to the health of our oceans.
The workshop will also shine a light on the challenges coral reefs face — from ocean pollution to the threat of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Participants will learn how each of us can help protect these precious ecosystems and why recycling is an important step in that mission.
In the creative part of the workshop, children will craft artworks using recycled materials — paper, cardboard, and plastic — developing their ecological awareness while expressing their imagination through art. That’s why we invite all participants to bring, along with their curiosity, items that would otherwise be thrown away — so we can turn them into eco art masterpieces together!
Join us as we learn how to protect our oceans — through knowledge, creativity, and teamwork!
The workshop is intended for children aged 7 to 12 and will be held in the Atom Hall.
